Licensed Land Surveyor/Field Supervisor – Key responsibilities will include managing field crews, managing survey data in and out of Trimble Business Center, preparing construction staking calculations, obtaining the necessary record maps as well as both horizontal and vertical control requirements in order to complete field survey work, reviewing field notes and supervising data collection for boundary, topographic, ALTA’s, as-builts or GPS surveys. Will be responsible for QA/QC of field data and field deliverables, proper scheduling, budget compliance, contract and client interactions.
Required Skills: Licensed Land Surveyor in California; 5 – 7 years’ experience; ability to organize and supervise; excellent project management skills necessary to maintain schedules, budgets and client satisfaction; skilled in related software, specifically in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, Micro Survey and StarNet software; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Licensed Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT)/Office – Key responsibilities will include survey research, survey related administrative duties, boundary analysis, legal descriptions, adjustments and correlation of data, recognizes discrepancies in results; assists in the preparation of plans, maps and exhibits, and assists in the organization, preparation and drafting of plans utilizing current AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, MicroSurvey and StarNet software.
Required Skills: 2 – 5 years’ experience; LSIT; computer literate with AutoCad software and CAD based applications; and excellent written and communication skills.
Field Crew Party Chief - Key responsibilities will include field crew supervision, prepares sketches and detailed field notes or electronically document all field actions, performs field calculations in response to client needs, coordinates with the project managers and Chief surveyor, boundary survey, certifications, ALTA, Topography and construction staking.
Required Skills: 4 – 6 years’ experience; ability to organize and supervise; ability to operate and maintain digital survey equipment; skilled in related software, specifically in AutoCAD, Trimble and Spectra Precission; proficient in the use of field instruments, conventional and GPS; and excellent written and communication skills.
