2017 NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) First Place Winner
IRVINE, California - The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is pleased to announce that they are recognizing the Building Industry Association of Southern California Builders Safety Alliance as a 2017 NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) first place winner in the category of Innovative Safety Program/Idea of the Year. Chelsea Vetick, Program Manager for Safety at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) states that this honor is awarded as an acknowledgement of gratitude, "for the BIASC Builder’s Safety Alliance efforts to ensure that home builders, trade contractors, and workers in the residential construction industry return home to their families and friends each day."
The goal of the SAFE awards program is to recognize the achievements of home builders and trade contractors who have developed and implemented high quality construction safety programs, as well as honoring other individuals and organizations who have made successful efforts to advance safety in the home building industry. Being recognized as a first-place winner means that NAHB acknowledges an organization’s leadership and commitment to improve construction safety.
