Welcome to the 50+ Housing Council |
Builders and developers across the nation are striving to meet the housing needs of "Boomers," empty nesters, active adults, retirees, and older seniors.
50+ Housing Council provides networking, education and partnering prospects for Southern California professionals involved in every aspect of building housing specifically for 50+ markets including active adult, age-targeted, senior condos, 55+ apartments, CCRCs, Assisted Living, Alzheimer's care and more.
Formed in 1990 as a special interest council of the Building Industry Association of Southern California [BIA/SC], 50+ Housing Council was the first local chapter of the National Association of Home Builders/50+ Housing Council (then known as the Senior Housing Council).
Today, we're the largest and most active 50+ Housing Council chapter in the country. |

Power of Persuasion - Part II
The Psychology of Social Influences for Active Adults
Guest Speaker: Dr. Eric Snider, Lifestory Research
“Part I” of this eye-opening discussion took place before a sold-out audience in October 2009. All agreed, there was a lot more to be said about how active adults are persuaded to buy.
Join us as we delve deeper into the psychology behind what influences the 50+ consumer and how you can become significantly more persuasive. Based upon more than 25 years of scientific research on the psychology of persuasion, Dr. Eric Snider will share key features of social influence strategies and how to use them in your sales and marketing efforts in today’s challenging housing market.
